Happy Chat
Hello, my friends,
Sorry for the slow progress on getting last week’s Happy Place Chat to all of you. The truth is, I’ve been finishing up the final (!!!) edits on the book, and everything else has fallen to the wayside. I appreciate the patience, and I also really, really appreciate how many of you tuned in to hang out. It was the most special way I can imagine kicking things off for this book, and I hope we’ll get to do more interactive things like that again.
If you missed the chat but want to know what we talked about, you can access the video here. Sidebar: you never know how much you mumble/what your accent sounds like until you try to read an automatic transcript of yourself talking. Fifty-one seconds into this, and the captions are like “your little spiritual people filter,” which I’m reasonably certain no one said.
Anyway, thanks again for everything. There will be a lot more fun news coming in the not-too-distant future, but in the meantime, I hope you’re reading, sleeping, and eating well. This week my favorite groceries were carrots and shallots, which I have been roasting together like every two days. It’s a nice cozy little side that tastes like the end of summer and the beginning of fall. I’ve also been enjoying this Milk Bar pie ice cream. It was never officially on my grocery list, but the best purchases usually aren’t.
Until next time,
E
